XDJ-R1 & Android

I know this has been brought up on a few occasions. I understand that the remotebox app will not be released for Android. That's fine as I have an iPad to use for wifi control.

My R1 is en route and will hopefully be here before Christmas. Here's my concern. I have Rekordbox installed on my Galaxy S6 it's quite fluent and I do like using it whilst sat in traffic, to set cue points etc. However, will I be able to load tracks from my Galaxy in the Rekordbox app onto the R1, as my iPad only has 16GB storage and I keep all of my music on my mobile.

Whist in the rekordbox app I've noticed there's no XDJ-R1 option when setting it up. I'm assuming I can just plug my phone in as a USB device and use the rekordbox analysed tracks that way?
