Cdj 2000 nxs ejecting cds
My cdj 2000 nexus will not play cds. When I put a CD in the player will eject it after a few seconds. Has anyone else had this problem??

If the CDs load on one deck but not the other, the problem is something within the optical drive and will need to be replaced / repaired. Unfortunately we don't have pricing information on any of the repair services, your nearest shop will be able to give you an estimate on their labour and parts, of course, would be extra should you be outside the warranty period of 1 year from date of purchase.
What type of CD have you tried? Have you tried a different CD?
I have tried many cds, all of them play on my other player. When the CD goes in I can't hear the disc spinning or anything like I can on the other. It is completely silent then will just eject the CD after 5-10 seconds. Everything else is working fine so I'm left with what is essentially an xdj 1000 instead of a cdj 2000 nexus :(
I have contacted my nearest service centre (which is a long way from where I live) and they have told me they have no idea what the problem could be or how much it will cost to fix. Do you have any idea what it could be???
any news on that? have exactly the same problem on one of my 2k nxs. :-(

Unfortunately I have to just use usb now. I think a one year warranty is not enough for something that costs so much! My cdj are only 18months old and I can not get them fixed under warranty
