Ripping vinyl sound issues.

I'm currently trying to rip my records through a PLX-500 via the USB using the record feature on Rekordbox However when I come to play the track back after recording the sound quality is really poor, quiet and double/triple the speed. 

I've tried reinstalling the software, I've tried using older versions and going through the setting restoring all the defaults in case I changed something by mistake.

I've had the PLX-500 for over a year and have been itching to rip my records.
