XDJ-RX No input sound right channel MIDI
Hi,
I connect my laptop via USB to play some tracks from laptop on my XDJ-RX. When I connect I use the USB MIDI source. The Load buttons flash. If I select the left arrow for left deck, everything works fine... input signal comes in and is displayed on CH1. I get get sound.
However, pressing the right arrow does nothing... it wont load and there is no sound on the meter. Any ideas why only the left channel works?
Thanks!

Yeah, that's the problem -- Windows, itself, can't handle ASIO devices, which is what's required for sending audio to any output other than 1/2 (CH1).
Applications capable of utilizing ASIO drivers (basically most DJ software, audio production software, etc) are able to use discrete channels, programs like iTunes are not.
Your software isn't configured properly?
Which software, and how is it set-up for the XDJ-RX as your audio device?
For example, simply playing a track from youtube website? Or the same issue happens from iTunes or even Rekordbox.
The audio plays through my XDJ-RX, using the midi channel. I just cant figure out why it only works on the LEFT channel?
I have the XDJ-RX drivers and firmware setup on my PC as normal.
Please help as this is baffling me!
Thanks
Tom
Sorry, do you mean channel 1 or only the left channel of audio (of the stereo pair) on channel 1?
What device is selected as your audio output for Windows?
Channel1.
Audio plays out of both speakers. Just cant get the Channel2 to receive the input for some reason.
On my PC the Audio Output device is shown as "Line (2- PIONEER XDJ-RX)"
Cannot make rekord box work with xdj - r1 : sound is only coming through one channel 1.
