Platter issue cdj 2000 nexus

Hi ,

Has anyone had a similar problem and if so what is the fix .

When i use the Platter to navigate through a track to set up a cue point  The needle will not move through the track whilst in vynil mode.

When the track is playing you cant spin back scratch or  effect the playing track in any way .

any sugestions would be welcome.
