old cd-350s license for rekordbox 4.0
So I have 2x350s but when I tried to use the license for the new rekordbox its says invalid numbers. The ver on the discs are 1. something. I guess pioneer is not giving licenses for products bought long ago? Still were very expensive items.

@Robert > There are two modes in which you can use rekordbox, the free (no license required) EXPORT mode, which allows you to manage and prepare the songs in your collection, export them to USB devices or link to Pro DJ Link compatible devices. The other mode is PERFORMANCE mode, which has a 30 day free trial, or you can purchase a license to unlock this mode permanently.
The license you received with your CDJs was for rekordbox 1 or 2 - that licensing system was discontinued with rekordbox 3 as the software became free for everyone. Unfortunately those licenses are not eligible for rekordbox DJ (the performance mode).
