When On Air Display is on and your mixer and players are all connected via Pro DJ Link, there will be flashing red arrows around the player number while the fader for that player is up, indicating the player is "on air", meaning people can hear it. On the CDJ-2000 this will also cause the ring around the jog wheel to change from white to red.
