Cue button takes me to loops made instead of first down beat.
If I load a track & set my cue point on the first down beat, when I play the track & happen to do a loop roll or set a loop. When I press my cue button afterwards, it takes me to the beginning of the last loop / roll I created. This doesn't make sense to me - I want to go back to my first down beat where I set my cue originally. Can someone please help me with this - am I doing something wrong? Also my hot cue's start playback even when the deck isn't playing - surely this isn't the correct way.

@Arthur > As @BriChi says, this is perfectly normal - creating a loop, even using auto buttons, pops the master cue point to the IN point of that loop, and it's how all CDJs have worked for years.
My recommendation is to set a memory point or hot cue at the beginning of the track.
Loop "IN" resets your cue point to that loop in point. This is the way it has pretty much always been for Pioneer gear
Thanks for your reply.
I haven't used the loop 'in' button, just auto loop & loop rolls.
So perhaps this is a bug?
It kinda defeats the purpose of cue the way it works right now.
The only way to get back to the start of my track is to first press pause & then use the strip search, which is really frustrating.
Is there a way to get a cue point that stays in place?
Rekordbox and use hotcue's
