Backing up configuration

I have just rebuilt my laptop and I back up my music database as XML and I also kept my copy of the overall Pioneer database However when launching record box and using these my configuration is not present for example the layout is not correct my keyboard shortcuts are no longer there How are we supposed to back up our configuration to ensure this is the same if we need to to rebuild a machines or set up on a new laptops
