RGB waveform on XDJ-700
An option to display RGB waveform on the XDJ-700 is missing. Would really appreciate it if its added in a next firmware version :)

It's not that the XDJ-700 doesn't have an RGB display (it does), but rather that unit was released before the RGB waveform function existed within rekordbox. Unfortunately it can't be added via firmware update as it requires additional processing which the unit is not capable of performing without sacrificing other functionality. Sorry!
The XDJ-700 doesn't have a RGB-Screen, so that won't happen. If there's a XDJ-700MK2 coming out, that's when it's gonna happen, like with the XDJ-1000Mk2.
I don't see why the XDJ-700 doesn't have an RGB-screen since it's all colors, or am I missing something? For me it seems like a marketing trick to make customers buy more expensive hardware.
It has a color screen with fixed colors, not RGB. This is the same for my a lot more expensive CDJ-2000Nexus's, the XDJ-1000 and the XDJ-RX. It's not a marketing trick but a way to make things look simple enough in the dark when playing. The much newer player from the other Brand has a full color screen at a higher screen rate, but they have still opted for a 3 color wave form. Some decisions are hard to understand, but is a fact of life. The choice you have is to buy gear that have the functionality you desire. Fortunately the color of the wave form doesn't affect playing, because it still shifts in lighter and darker blue depending on what's going on in the track.
