Rekordbox Dj & using usb
When using rekordbox dj with a pair of cdj2000s, if I also have a memory stick in the player I can switch to use and browse the stick, but can't load a track. Is this correct? You can't use a Ian stick when in hid mode?

Sorry, misunderstanding ...
You can't have the USB in the CDJ and load it to rekordbox; the USB drive must physically be connected to the computer and then you are able to load tracks from that drive even if it's not the master database for the computer.
As of rekordbox 5, you can!
It doesn't seem to work with v5 either?
Just tried, when you have the CDJ2000 running in HID mode controlling rekordbox dj, you can press the usb button and browse a usb in the player, but you can't load a track from the usb.
This has still not worked for me. I swapped over to V5 and cannot swap from rekordbox dj to a usb. Is there new setting that need to be changed or firmware that is needed?
Pioneer, you misunderstand the issue.
The issue arises during the process of swapping DJs (usually).
If you are in HID mode (Rekordbox DJ Performance Mode) on the CDJs and the other DJ plugs in his/her usbs to the same CDJ (to play the next track) - It will allow the tracks to be browsed but not selected (on the CDJ).
Ergo you cannot play on a CDJ directly from the usb, while it is connected to a computer using Rekordbox DJ performance mode. Is there a solution, or can one please be quickly implemented, as this is a HUGE oversight!
Uh, yeah you can. Press and hold the BACK button to release the player from HID mode, or from USB mode, select the track and confirm that you want to load it.
