DDJ SX2 Recording Issues

So I upgraded from my DDJ-RB to a DDJ-SX2 and ever since , I have been having a recording issue with Rekordbox. I do i 4 hour live set  and after recording stops after the 3rd hour and then picks back up , Rekordbox says and shows its recording so when I go and save an hour later , there is no sound , and the file is saved as a millisecond blip sound. All Firmware and Drivers are up to date.
