Hey guys,

The original post is for the DJS-1000 for file sharing issues. I want to try to help you guys resolve the issues but there are comments for both the TSP-16 and DJS-1000. Please try to to keep the comments based on the post for that product. I know these products are very similar but its hard to determine the issue if we are talking about 2 different products.

Thanks

I'm having trouble with sharing files with the SP-16, too.   I can open the project, but there are no samples associated with any of the pads.

In the Creator software, I can get the samples to load by name, but nothing more that I can tell.  When I attempt to put the USB stick with the saved files back into my SP-16, no go again.

Any ideas or clear directions of what I should be doing?   I've got folders for samples, projects and one for system.

Thanks in advance!

@blue monster 65,hey i didnt even know they had the file sharing option for the Toraiz, are you sure we talking about the same thing? What i was talking about is i supposed to be able to see the samples on my computer thru the screen of the djs like if it had a usb stick plugged in but instead of usb it would say link and thru the network i can load samples but it dont work, now on the toraiz i dont recall any updates with this feature yet unless im mistaking ive never seen that on the 1.4 update

Ah!  I'm mistaken.   I mean sharing files between two SP-16s.  For example, a friend of mine created a bunch of patterns and sent them to me.  When I tried to load them, all I got was ... well ... see above!   No sound.  Got the samples.  Got the pattern data.  They don't go together!

I can see my SP-16 as a storage device when I hook it to my computer via USB and I can see the files in the Creator software.

Oh,i get it,well im still fighting with this thing after i had gave up a few hrs ago now im back at it scratching my head if pioneer released something that isnt working yet or if im doing something wrong & it looks like im doing everything right but no luck.

I just figure I'll either eventually figure it out ... or I won't.   The SP-16, overall, is a fantastic machine for me, though.  I really dig it.  I was just hoping to score some patterns from someone else, so I could de-construct what he was doing and learn from them, you know?   As it is, I'm doing it on my own!  Hahahahahahahahahaha!

Let me know if you have a breakthrough and I'll do the same for you.

Ok,and that update for the toraiz is coming in june with live sampling and other features supposedly so you will probably like it even more.

@DJCreme,this is why we need a djs-1000,toraiz sp16 & toraiz as1 topics or subjects (seperately) to choose from for less confusion cause people are gonna keep posting all 3 on the only one available the Toraiz topic.

Blue Monster 65

Sorry about that - I was under the impression that the OS on both was so similar as to be virtually the same.  My mistake.

Yeah - the update in June should be cool.  I hope it's out for Gear Fest at Sweetwater!   I'll be checking in with Pioneer then, I'm sure (and will have a booth in the used gear tent - stop by and say hi!)
