DVS BMP issue
hi
when using the DVS feature on rekordbox dj with a pair of pioneer PLX 1000 turntables and the DDJ RX controller i get a very unsteady BMP playback which makes it impossible to beat match...i m sure my tone arms are balanced and i got new stylus..i use rekordbox dvd vinyls and calibrate the turntables in the software...the bmp varies in almost 1 bmp e.g.: from 125.20 to 126.18
when i had traktor and z2 mixer (my old setup) it worked fine with the same turntables
any ideas?..
please pioneer team need some support
regards

try to reset the tempo (i have mapped c and m for that), with the pitch slider in the middle, nothing happens.
also when turning sync off, nothing. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't.
I think I know why it's doing that, but I need to confirm it on my setup here -- I'll test it out today and get back to you.
So, my suspicion, and this is only my working theory because I've encountered some other REALLY weird problems when trying to test it out with my CDJs and the timecode audio file (don't think the issue is related to the CDJs or audio, but moreso something to do with rekordbox and the DVS), but if you have two decks running and one of them is synced (which, it's hard to tell in your video since you sweep past Deck 2 of your computer screen so quickly, but it looks like I could see the grey "SYNC" beside the deck number), moving from track to track and deck to deck, you could find yourself in a situation where the pitch "zero" is not at the deck zero, and this is due to the sync. Trying to reset the zero doesn't work because the other deck is still synced, or there is a sync situation.
Yes i touch so to, but it also happens wen i turn of sync on both the decks.
I'm escalating this to a ticket as I've also created a video for the product team to try and figure out what's going on from my end as well.
appreciate that! thanks.
Is it possible to change the speed for mixing for rekordbox DVS? I run my turntables on 45 rpm speed setting and hoping to move to rekordbox from serato; this is a big decider! Can't find anything online, the only thing i can find in rekordbox is under 'controller' :(. Thanks
@Kyle> go to PREFERENCE and that the tab: CONTROLLER
Ok currently using serato control vinyls to test and it doesn't work for them. So just to confirm, if i buy the official ones that setting works? Using technic 1210s for some more information! Thanks for the quick reply :)
@Kyle > I don't think there is, but I'll ask. I know the setting in the preferences for the 33/45 is only for the jog, not DVS timecode input.
OK thanks, didn't want to buy the time code vinyls to test!
@Pulse> found a other error:
when using a hotloop and from the loop jump to A or B Hotloop, the track runs from the beginning of the hotloop. note: only tracks added after Beta2 and added the hotloops and hotques after that install. Al tracks before run fine.
Look at the video, it dont have audio but you see the wave.

@Pulse> you see the above problem i found?
i touch it only happens with hot loops added after Beta2, but happens to all the tracks!
Have you tried the full, official, 4.3.0 release?
Yes its the new 4.3.0
@pulse> update: only in reletive mode, internal its normal!
Check the video please:

I'll pass that along - but that's a different issue from the original post, so let's make sure that any replies are always on-topic so as not to confuse our engineering team when we ask them to go and read through these posts.
Yes true, will make a new next time
@pulse> Some news on my latest posted problem? or beter to start a new post?
good day
Did someone solve this problem?
