waveform drifts in rekordbox

while in previous versions of rekordbox, when you adjusted the speed of the track to match it to the one you're mixing it with, the waveform grafically changed too, stretched as to align all beats neatly together.

in the current version it appears not to be doing that anymore, just aligning the beat that's heard at that instance, but drifting in the rest of the graphic.

is this a setting i'm overlooking? or is it a bug that needs to be fixed?
