So I have a little suggestion to help the Pioneer engineers diagnose problems customers are reporting - please can we have some decent diagnostics from the devices? I'd have though it would be relatively easy to write a log file to a memory card (such as an inserted USB stick), which customers could then send to Pioneer with a description of the problem. If necessary you could enable/disable the logging through one of the option menus or a special key combination.

You are never going to find all the bugs during in-house testing, but decent diagnostics (which I don't believe exist today) would help resolve any field issues a lot quicker.

We do, but as the logfiles generated are ENORMOUS, the special diagnostic version is sent directly from us to users who we ask to debug and send us detailed information.

Is this new with the nexus? Seems you could have solved a lot if cdj2000 problems a lot quicker if the debug build had been more readily available.

Out of interest how do you flash the debug version onto the device and then later reflash the latest firmware?

It's for rekordbox and linking, not any specific hardware.
