Was the old CDJ-900 and 2000 master key ever substantially improved?

Was this ever resolved and brought up to the original CDJ-1000mk3 quality?
Edit:
Found answer...
There were improvements with key lock on the CDJ-900 in v4.00 and v4.10. Elastique and Pitch-n-Time are still superior, but I don't hear any more degradation from keylock than you get on a Radius 3000. The Pioneer is also bit-perfect at zero pitch over SPDIF.

Yes and no. The 2000's got a firmware update that made master tempo passable, but you still hear a lot of sound deterioration and warping if you pay close attention. When I play on original 2000's I normally leave the master tempo off but in a noisy club you can definitely use it. The 900's never got updated, master tempo unusable.
