@ Hadi El Sabaa maybe the hard drive went to sleep, was the looping track on the cdj linked or on the actual cdj with the drive plugged in? this happened to me a while back ago but i think it was because i have a 2TB loaded almost completely with music which makes it slow and it stopped when i was using the other cdj linked not the cdj with the drive plugged in did you update the firmware to 1.5 try that if not.that all i can think of,good luck
Hi Jova .. Thanks for your replay ! its happening to me alot & i have changed the hard disk 3 times i had 2 terra western digital & ive change to ssd because i thought its more stable!! but looks like its not also!
I'm assuming they're formatted FAT32.
It could be a variety of issues–a poor external drive enclosure for example.
WD (Western Digital) drives are notorious for issues when it comes to going to "sleep" or entering a power save mode.
If I'm being perfectly honest, I've never had a pleasant experience with Kingston or any other budget drives for that matter. Ever. If you're going to invest the money into a high-end DJ setup, it would make sense to compliment it with reliable, high-end drives with a reputation for proper functionality. Personally, I exclusively use Samsung SSD's and SanDisk USB sticks and have yet to experience issues (knock on wood).
