ddj 1000 or ddj rz as an external mixer
Hi all,
i would buy ddj 1000 or ddj rz and i want to use them also with turntablese.
I would know if:
1) is it possible to use ddj 1000 or ddj rz as an external mixer for turntables without using pc or mac? Do the effects work on turntable tracks?
2) is it possible to use ddj 1000 or ddj rz as an external mixer for turntables using pc or mac and timecode vinyl as rekordbox dvs?
Thanks a lot

Yes, you can use either unit as a stand-alone mixer, for line or phono inputs.
If you want to use DVS, you must use it with rekordbox dj, obviously. The DDJ-RZ comes with a DVS license, the DDJ-1000 requires that as a separate purchase.
Sure you can with the DDJ1000,i think the RZ also has a standalone mixer
But are scenario 1 and 2 both valid?
If yes why have I to buy example giving a a djm 750 instead a ddj 1000 at the same price?
Yes,both are ok to use as an exernal mixer and with Dvs(you must purchase a dvs license for Rekordbox)
Thanks for the answer, is the djm 750 a mixer better than the one of ddj 1000?
News? Thanks
As I replied to your other post, it's about the same as the 750MK2. Please don't cross-post the same question in multiple locations.
Thanks
if you've got the space and the unit is permantley staying in your house, the rz is the way to go.
if your going out on the road its the ddj1000.
ive had both.
I use my DDJ 1000 for exactly this with a pair of XDJ 1000s
