XDJ1000MK2 Top Plate loose?
Hello,
I recently bought an XDJ1000MK2. I really enjoy it so far, however, there is one 'problem' I've noticed. When I press firmly against the top plastic on the bottom of the player (e.g. next to the play button) it goes down a little bit. Is this kind of flex normal? I also have two 2000Nexus Players, on which this problem is not really noticeable.

Hey Simon,
Sorry to hear that - do you mean the metal faceplate? It's a thin sheet adhered to the top of the body; it could be the glue beneath it has separated due to temperature or humidity issues, or if there wasn't enough adhesive in that section.

I've also asked other people that own this device, they've told me that this is absolutely normal. After digging into some information about the way the plate is mounted to the bottom, it also seems obvious to me that tt will flex a bit if pressure is applied. Are my assumptions correct?
I think I've watched that about 20 times and while it does appear there's a small amount of movement, I don't feel it's anything to be concerned about.
