[CLOSED] DJ Wego Problems with ASIO and Windows 7 64bit
Gutted ... its my sons birthday and I bought him a We-Go.
Even though the sales spec says that the wego is compatible with Windows 7 we have had nothing but problems with the ASIO driver.
Long story short with ASIO we can't get VDJ to work at all. By removing the ASIO driver we can run the VDJ using the keyboard but not the We-Go
Is there a fix please?
I have tried so many different solutions and options in the config it just seems that Windows 7 64 bit and ASIO are not compatible.
Is there another driver or a patch or something?
Really disappointed DJ Dad trying to start his son off with Pioneer kit!

Hi there, yes, I installed pioneer-DDJ-WeGO-Driver-1.000 (it seems there are not newer versions available), updated the firmware to the version 1.08(latest available) and updated the VDJ to the version 7.4 LE. Stil receiving the same error message....
ohhhhhhh.....what can i do for u bro;? i think ur compu; problem?
ok....last try it bro;....uninstall all DDJ program from ur compu:...after u install it all DDJ software program.
I'm afraid I already did it and it does not work.
lol............try it..............try it
I just tried again uninstalling everything and installing it again and it still does not work :-(
Mine continues to stutter Virtual Dj horrible. The moment I move the crossfader elsewhere, everything crashes
Yesterday I finally solved my issue. I ran a windows recovery and then DDJ-WEGO and Virtual DJ worked perfectly. So it seems it was a problem with my Windows rather than WEGO.
I'm thinking about throwing my computer out the window and melting the WE-GO to use as low quality shoe polish
Hi I bought a Wego (not sure if its a mistake just yet, but I'm getting more and more frustrated as the days go by).
I had twenty minutes of fun on it, until it froze on me, then every time I try and go into virtual DJ it come up with the message "Error in the ASIO sound drive, your sound card is not connected or the settings are incorrect" and virtual DJ will not respond.
I actually bought the Wego to use with my ipad app DJAY but I have not got a clue where to start, I have bought all the pioneer wecai and camera connection kit but when I plug it into my ipad NO GO , I've also tried to download the newest version for the wego but can't seem to do it with windows 7
Please help as I do not want to go and replace it with the Numark IDJ
Ive also realized that it is not just the program but the hardware apparently. My controller stutters on Serato DJ Intro as well. My control is just sitting here doing nothing because I can't use it. Seeing as playing with it in a live scenario is unrealistic. Someone please help me...I'm not going to beg, but no one is dedicating help to this :(
I have a windows computer and had the same problem. What you have to do is
1. Start the Wego controller and wait for the the lights to turn on.
2. Next start Virtual DJ
Finally, I've solved the issue yesterday by running a windows-recovery, the wego now works properly, but I've to re-install everything on my laptop... Thanks =)
Please I need help! I have a laptop HP Compaq 6735s, I bought the DDJ-Wego then I have windows 7 32bit, I installed the drivers and Virtual DJ and when I want to let you hear the song very noise, which is unbearable, I went to the neighbors, DJJ-Wego worked perfectly and told me that my laptop needs to have a Windows xp operating system, I have listened afterwards was even worse, I tried with Windows 8 32bit and then moved on to better hear the normal music with brief interruptions but it was bearable then I thought that the program and I downloaded serato dj software and rebooted the system after which it worked perfectly for about 10 minutes and still get back in, I restart my laptop again and it works again for about 10 minutes and returned to the unbearable sound please explain to me what the problem is! Thanks in advance!
