Can I use this software to interface with an Pioneer DPM 555?

Hello,

Recently aquired a Pioneer DPM 555. Unit was originally sold with a version of Pioneers 'D.J. Booth' software but I can't seem to find D.J booth anywhere. This includes Pioneer, so I was  wondering if there are other pieces of software out there that I could use and are accessible to buy and load? Thanks for your time....=-)

BriChi

they certainly won't work with Rekordbox. Possibly look into Serato or Traktor and control the software via the time code cd's included with t he software

Gavin

Welcome to the forums Ruderick.

No, Rekordbox is new generation software, The DMPs were certainly not designed with Rekordbox in mind!

In terms of DJ Booth, that's a very old Pioneer software system, What issue are you having with it?

Other solutions exist such as those offered by Virtual DJ, Traktor, Serato, Torq etc.

Mrchukkel I need a driver for card reader of  dmp-555 xp my friend ! : )

miltinhod dj

how do I start my own thread?

MrChukkel

To Use SD Cards use the DJ Booth software no extra driver is needed, the mp3 file transfer is done within the application. MMC cards can be formatted in windows with fat32 and with those you can copy the mp3s from windows to the mmc card.   Im not sure what size cards the readers can take, but I presume anything over 2gb wont work due to the age

miltinhod dj

Thank you MrChukkel the dmp-55 not read the card-sd ?

MrChukkel

Yes the DMP-555 can read SD-Cards but the MP3's need to be exported to the card by using the DJ Booth software

Krzysztof Szwalgin

Hi everyone, I am looking for software for my Pioneer DMP 555, I have searched all the internet and found nothing at all. Maybe someone has in their archive and shared? regards Krzysztof

Hello,
I bought a pair of the DMP-555 a year ago and would like to be able to use it as a MIDI controller via USB, but I don't have the Windows driver.

I contacted support, but they said they couldn't help me.

It's unbelievable that Pioneer doesn't have a single driver anymore

Could someone make it available? djmaiconlouse(a)gmail(dot)com

I'm brazilian too.

Thanks
