DDJ-SX2 Freezes
"Updated" firmware 1.06
Updated Serato DJ Pro 2.3.4
Macbook Air / Mac OS 10.13.6 / 4GB RAM / External HD
No significant issues until yesterday. Per Serato I reanalyzed files and found only a dozen "corrupt" files and removed them.
Serato works fine until I plug in the SX2 and it freezes, music still plays but I have to power down the laptop and restart Serato.

Your SX2 is older hardware which means it will work with older versions of SDJ the new “Pro” versions use more cpu i think you’ll have better luck running a previous version of the software. Sounds like your laptop is under specs. 4 gig ram is not much and a MacBook Air depending on what year it is is not very powerful.
