pre activate loops without calling it directly

Hi guys,

I switched from Traktor to Pioneer recently and own a xdj-rx3 now.

When I set a loop and save it to the HOT CUE area on my rx3, I can't find the function to preactivate/ deactivate the loop BEFORE the loop is reached - can anyone help me out?

I had read about the  "active loop" function (only once per track!) but that's not the same.

Example:

Loops are saved at 01:00 , 02:00, 03:50

I start the track at 00:01 and want to (pre) activate the loop at 01:00 BUT NOT CALL IT directly.

(when the track reaches the position 01:00, the saved loop should be active)

How can I do this with pioneer?

I'm used to this (basic) function from Traktor, but unfortunately can't find it on my RX3.

Would be thankfull for any support.

P.S.: Why is the "active loop" function not working/ enough for me?

I'm using min. two loop points for fading in (beginning of the track) and fading out (end of the track) so I need to pre activate more than one.

Hope I explained the situation in a good way....

After you create a loop there's a small icon that it's orange, you need to turn it red clicking it.

After years I still feel confused about this system, and can't understand why they're using red to say "enabled" and orange to say "disabled"
