could i hook up the cdj 1000 mk3 to channels 3 and 4 if i had a sx2 controller on serato??

Sure - did you mean to use them just as audio playback devices for CDs or did you want to use them as controllers for Serato? If the latter, you'll need to have the DVS pack for Serato.
i would like to use them as controllers, so id have my mixer and channels 1 & 2 on my sx2, and then have 2 cdj 1000 mk3 to control the songs loaded by the mixer on 3 & for. to make this possible would i need anything else (like leads) other than the DVS pack??
In addition to the DVS expansion pack, you'll need a pair of RCA cables to connect the outputs from the CDJs to the inputs of the SX2, and a CD with the Serato timecode burned on it.
does this also work with the ddj sx 1
No, the SX1 does not support DVS.
