1000 mk2 and 1000 browsing question

I'm looking to upgrade from my Technic 1200s and am considering some 1000s. I see from the website there are some differences, especially in browsing.

I'm curious if on the 1000 you can browse by BPM.

I use Serato Live with my Technics and really like to be able to browse by BPM. If I ditched Serato for some XDJs, can I browse by BPM on the player?

But if I wanted to use Serato, do I need to upgrade that as well? Can I use Serato Live with the XDJ 1000s?
