XDJ-XZ doesn't unlock DVS in rekordbox 6
Hey there,
a lot of articles tells me, that the XDJ-XZ unlocks DVS feature.
For sure, 2 - 3 days ago the DVS works well and in my preferences there are a lot of DVS options i can set.
Now if switching the DVS Mode in the Decks, there is Absolute and Relative Mode locked.
What is happened >> please help?!

@Alex > The same as in rekordbox 5, the XDJ-XZ supports DVS but it's not included or unlocked for free. In rekordbox 6, you will need to purchase a plan in order to use DVS functionality.
I think, that's not true...
Here is clearly pointed out, DVS will unlocked with using XDJ-XZ (Free Plan with supported Hardware >> DVS).

In my opinion unlock means UNLOCK the feature >> remove the LOCK icons.
It looks like, Pioneer mislead the crowd!
In RB5 using a license key to using DVS all time.
Thats not really serious after buying such a expensive Controller, paying monthly for the "native" things like DVS.
Sorry, that's not as clear as it should be:
Basically, if it was free in 5, it's free in 6. If it was paid in 5, it's paid in 6.
DVS was not free with the XDJ-XZ, so you'll need a subscription for it if you want to use it within rekrodbox 6.
See the *2 Some models are not supported.
Ah okay... the matrix on my linked page means "Hardware supports DVS without an interface" but to unlock i need a paid plan.

In your linked matrix the DDJ-XP1 and ...XP2 are marked as DVS FREE with a *
What does the * means???
For instance i'd like to use additionally the XP1 / XP2 to control lighting...
With this combination - XDJ-XZ and DDJ-XP1 or XP2 - gets DVS for FREE???

The change to rekordbox is not a cheep think but i hope it worth it in my case.
Additionally i'd like to buy the XP1 or XP2 and the RB-DMX1...
Is there a way to get the video pack for free with additionally hardware too???

Like my explaining i use(d) Serato DJ.
Now i ordered the DDJ-XP1 which is explicit for rekordbox.
Is there a possibility to use it additionally in Serato DJ via MIDI assignments (like other MIDI Pads / Controllers e.g. Korg Nanopad, Akai, ...)?

Yes, you can MIDI map the XP1 in Serato DJ.

is it planned in the future to implement TIDAL additionally in rekordbox?
Obviously streaming sources are a hot topic where everyone wants their preferred vendor added, and with inclusion of Beatport, Soundcloud, and Inflyte, users see the potential for more sources. Unfortunately I don't have any information available on any potential or currently un-added sources. Sorry!

My first choice was Soundcloud in Serato.
One year ago i switch to TIDAL and 2 hours ago switched back to SC ;o)
My library / collection is really huge but sometimes there is the situation to falling back to a online / streaming service implements in a professional DJ software.
Soundcloud is implemented in the most professional DJ solutions like rekordbox, Serato, djay...
Suggestion last:
A possibility to use the exported library (via rekordbox mobile sync) in WeDJ or Soundcloud in WeDJ would be really great.

Now i check all features in (my new) rekordbox.
I think, there are a lot of useful things in it.
In rekordbox i can create playlist folders with a lot of playlist inside (Serato: crates and subcrates).
Is it possible to view all tracks in a playlist folder >> means in every playlist placed in this folder?

Today comes my DDJ-XP1 additional to my XDJ-XZ but my mood is bad.
I thought that's possible to set buttons, pads and the knob to my own assignments but isn't. In the rekordbox MIDI setup there is really often a message says, the MIDI Code doesn't change.
WHAT?!
Switch the MIDI preference in Utility Mode but nothings happened 🤷♂️
How can i use e.g.
• the knob for Sampler Volume or
• the knob for Lighting MasterDimmer
• the stripes for Sampler Volume or Master Dimmer
• the 1, 2, 3 button upper left / right for abs, rel, int Mode
I can't feel free with it and my happiness is going down with the DDJ-XP1.
PLEASE HELP and note my posts before.
