DDJ-1000 Freezing

I have a DDJ-1000 which I like. But yesterday and today the controller has starting freezing. Rekordbox is still working on my MacBook Pro and the music still comes out. But other than the up-fader, no buttons on the DDJ-1000 work (despite the lights all being on). I can control music from my laptop, but not the controller. Please help ASAP as I now rely on my DDJ-1000 to play out.

I have the latest versions of Rekordbox and the latest firmware (1.07) on my laptop. I have also tried different USB cables in case that was the issue.
