DDJ 1000 search button

just bought a ddj 1000.  I am coming out of a xdj rx.  The search button on the xdj works totally different.  It backs the track up a set of beats and stays on beat.  I hate the way the DDJ works.  Is there a way to make the ddj search work like the xdj.  If not its going back.
