Using DDJ-SR2 With Rekordbox

Hi there

 

My friend and I want to share the use of a DDJ-SR2 controller (designed for Serato) but before we purchase it, can I run it ok with my laptop using Rekordbox? I have a subscription to Rekordbox and just want to know if there will be any major issues. The reason we have picked this controller is because it has a XLR connection.
