DJM - A9 - My Settings

Does any one have any clue on how to save Beat Effects Setting on he A9. I've been wrestling with it for 3 days now.  I'm just trying to get rid of the 1/3 & 2/3 Echo.

Any help would be appreciated.

This is what I did.

  • make sure you have a USB or SD card in.
  • Hold quantize until the menu comes up
  • arrow to my settings and select
  • you should get a save option and from there you can just select the drive you are saving to.

When you load up, you can go through the same process except load.

Hey Mike and Knappy, did you sort the settings for the beat effects? I am having the same issue as well. I can not get the mixer to save my settings. Also, were you able to remove the 1/3 echo? Any feedback is appreciated

Cheers

Sal,

I was not able to resolve and I did not try what Knappy suggested because its my home mixer and don't want to have to put a USB in it every time I use.  In theory I should because while that may blow to have to do so it could solve the issue using the mixer.  I just have never done it.

Additionally, I reached out to Crossfader.  They told me you couldn't make it go away.  Saving your settings would only allow you to save what beat you wanted to start from or having the Low/Mid/High functions activated etc..

Ultimately I just said screw it.

Ah dam. To me, it sounds odd that we would need external storage. I can't seem to get the settings to stick (which is driving me crazy). I called Pioneer two days ago, (for another issue) and was hoping to ask them about the settings too. I called bc the mic input is super hot. As soon as an MC talks, my master clips (even with the mix gain turned all the way down. Thanks for the reply Mike
