Moving to New Macbook and Rekordbox 6 at the same time
Hey guys, I will be moving to a 2021 14" Macbook Pro and want to move up to rekordbox 6 also. At the moment I am on Rekordbox 5 on a 2011 macbook pro and all my music database is on an external lacie 2tb hard drive. I was looking for advice for a smooth transfer of everything over to the new macbook still using the same hard drive, I don't want to lose all my playlists, memory and hot cue points etc, Thanks

If the database is also on external, then you don't need to do anything - just take the drive to the new computer, start rekordbox 6 with a blank database, open the prefs and point it to your external database, then convert, and presto!
