DDJ 800 software not picking up that the jogwheel is turning

Hi all, 

Recently i dropped my ddj 800 decks and not to my surprise something was internally broken. Upon physically turning the jogwheel to beat match it works but within the software it will not recognise the wheel is turning therefore i cannot mix any tracks. What spare parts shall i look into, also trying to find a jogwheel diagram to see how the system works when recognising the turning of a jogwheel.

I cannot see anything that is broken with my eyes despite taking the jogwheel apart to inspect all aspects of it. The cables are also still in good shape. 

Anyone with any experience of disassembly of the ddj 800's could you help me. Thanks
