From 100% to 20-23% CPU analyze and locks program up
So the title pretty much sums up the issue. When i need to analyze tracks, the first song goes balls to the wall at 100 percent then the remaining however many songs drops the CPU to 20-23% and locks up Rekordbox. How can i fix this..it did 5 thousand songs in 27 hours...is this normal?

Are you analysing in PERFORMANCE mode or NORMAL mode (under the rekordbox analysis preferences, not the performance / export mode)?
It can certainly take some time depending on the number of threads available for your CPU.
Yes it is in performance mode.
It shouldn't "lock up" but it could be using so much CPU that it seems that it's frozen. You can do one of two things... wait, or change to the NORMAL analysis mode.
If you're using an outdated version of rekordbox, try updating to the latest version as there was a bug in certain versions which seemed to stop analysis if you had the wifi enabled.
