Do We Have To Pay To Use DDJs Now!?
I've been using my SX-2 for years with Rekordbox, I did a bunch of recordings through Rekordbox with it last week and everything was fine. The other day I plug it in and Rekordbox says it doesn't recognize the piece of equipment I always use with it. And says I'm not using the right plan or something? Do I have to pay monthly do use my own equipment now? What's going on, am I missing something?

The SX2 was never a hardware unlock device for Rekordbox. It was designed for Serato and released well before Rekordbox released performance mode. Rekordbox did provide SX2 support with purchase of a license; I'm still happily using Rekordbox V5 and my SX2 with the license I purchased. However, I'm not interested in paying a monthly subscription so I haven't made the switch to V6.
Have you made any changes to your Rekordbox config, eg downloaded V6?
