255 characters pathname limit... why, WHY?!?!
One more person crying at the limit of 255 characters for PATHNAME... not filename, PATHNAME. There is no way this is a feature, and it's killing me :(

You can thank legacy FAT32 support for that.
Once FAT32 has died a flaming death, then the limitation can be lifted. Sorry!
