@Nik > Few questions, what version of Traktor are you using?
Have you updated the firmware on the players? Firmware available here: http://pioneerdj.com/support/product.php?lang=en&p=CDJ-350&t=96
What computer are you using (specs / OS) etc?
You might have to try adjusting the latency settings, its not necessarily a case of having it at the highest possible setting.
windows7, newest version (1.0.8) traktor 2 scratch pro
@Nik > Thats not the latest version of the software. Regardless, adjusting your latency settings should give you a more stable result.
What are your computer specs? Are you on the most recent firmware and drivers?
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5CPU 750@2,67GHz 2,79GHz
RAM: 8 GB
64 Bit
Hope that could help you and yes i have the most recent firmware and drivers.
to specify my problem: I start my mixer and my cdjs, then i start traktor. It completly works, but then it appears that every 10-30 sec the sound stops. You can see on the mixer that no sound is playing, but in traktor there is sound.(music speakers doesnt play sound, i just see it in traktor). Then if i Press something on a cdj i can hear the sound again.( for like 10-30sec as i wrote)
i connected my cdjs and my music speakers directly to the mixer. The only thing what is connected to the pc are the both usb-wires that coming from the cdjs.
Hope it could help you :x
What is the latency setting of the audio interface within Traktor?
512 but i tried a lot of different settings, my problem never disappeared.
OLÁ BOA NOITE,NÃO VEJO A HORA DESSE PROBLEMA ACABAR POIS NÃO TEM COMO FAZER UM SET NAS KSAS NOTURNAS DESSE JEITO,NOS AJUDE PIONEER POR FAVOR.SOBRE A LATÊNCIA,AUMENTANDO ELA O PROBLEMA SÓ RETARDA UM POUCO MAS NÃO SOME..
(TRAKTOR NO WINDOWS 7 +ASIO PIONEER TÁ!!! ABÇO.)
Hi.
I got exactly the same problem, but not as often as every 30 sec.
The sound suddenly stops, and Traktor keeps playing. Have to press a button on the 350's to get sound again. (i.e. cue+play)
So it's nothing unusual to see on my laptop, it's just no sound.
I have tried everything;
I got roughly the same hardware as described above.
Maybe it has something to do with 64-bit windows 7 OS?
I am very close to buy a new laptop, or at least install Win XP...
Nik: Exactly what type of laptop do you have?

Best solution is just get scratch and use timecode...gave up on midi.
I found a solution to my problem:
I still use the 350's as midicontrollers, but I don't use the built-in soundcard on the 350's.
Connected the 350's to the laptop with usb, and connected the audio8-soundcard to the laptop with usb. (you need 3 usb inputs)
Then connected the audio8-card to the mixer.
You will need an external soundcard (i.e. NI Audio8) for this setup, but many of you problably have the audio8 for timecode playing already.
Everything work well so far, so the drop out problem was obviously due to the embedded 350-soundcards.
@Trygve > Thanks for the feedback. I've forwarded your information to the engineers to help them troubleshoot the potential problem.
Hey!
I also had this problem. A very easy solution on my notebook was to turn off the WLAN!
Don't know if it works for everyone, but on my Windows 7 Notebook it works fine.
@Vinylsurfer > Thanks for sharing that information.
