DDJ-T1 Map for djay

I've just created a DDJ-T1 MIDI map for Algoriddim's djay software - it's a basic start but covers the majority of what beginners would want to use.

Disclaimer: Until Algoriddim or Pioneer officially releases a MIDI map, my map will be considered beta and you are using it without warranty, or guarantee of function.

Download the map file here.

To install the file, simply double-click on it in your finder.  For more information, see the djay documentation or support site.

Here's a breakdown of the mapping; channels C & D are unused as the software only supports 2 decks:

  • Browse Knob = Scroll
  • Press Browse Knob = Toggle Pane
  • Tree Button = Focus Playlists
  • Favorites Button = Focus Tracks
  • Load A = Load selected track to Deck 1
  • Load B = Load selected track to Deck 2
  • Channel fader, EQs, gain, crossfader, headphone and master controls are mapped as expected.
  • Channel A FX1 Button = FX Active
  • Sync = Sync
  • Play = Play
  • Shift + Play = Jump to Start Point & Play

  • Loop In = Loop In
  • Loop Out = Loop Out

I hope I didn't miss anything, if I did, you can find it in the mapper quite easily.  As you can see, there are a lot of buttons and knobs unused and waiting for you to assign them to whatever you want!  I have mapped out some of the LEDs as well, but I did notice some conflicts and in some instances, they didn't illuminate until something else had changed.
