Rekordbox Audio setup with powered speakers
I bought my DDJ RB controller today & on reading the manual, it says I should get a prompt to choose either computers speakers or powered sorakers, I never got any prompt so can you tell me how to set up audio to connect to powered speakers, I will be using an external mixer too, does that change settings also?

If you didn't see the prompt, not to worry - you can still make the adjustment. Chances are it defaulted to the DDJ-RB as your primary output, which is what you want. The other method is to use the internal soundcard / speakers of your computer (in case you don't have external speakers connected to the RB).
You can find all those settings in the rekordbox preferences.
Thanks Pulse, I managed to get things going by selecting DDJ-RB ASIO, while I’m here could you tell me how or can I change pad fx around to my own tastes
Click into the PAD FX mode or tap the PAD FX 1 button, then in rekordbox, click the gear icon and you can customize the effects by clicking the drop-down:
