Hello,

I have started getting into playing drum and bass, and when a song I download is downloaded at 87 bars, I like to change to double to suit the rest of my library. But, after setting the BPM myself, then putting the song into the player or the decks, the songs BPM resets it's self back to what it was originally. 

Is there a setting I should be looking for that is wrong?

Yes - in the preferences you can change the analysis settings; use a higher range to ensure the songs are correct BPM. Just run a re-analysis on those which are in the wrong range and need doubling (or manually go and double them).
