New PIONEER DJ S-DJ08's with Hiss
I have new PIONEER DJ S-DJ08's and when i turn them on i hear a Hiss coming from both speakers. I called tech support and they said i shouldn't hear any thing when they are ON. Even without input cables you can clearly hear the Hiss and it only gets louder as you turn the speaker level up.
Are your speakers quiet when they are ON with volume Up?

A slight sound of white noise may be audible when you turn on your speakers. Is the sound excessive? Try to separate audio cables with electrical cables (i.e. don't have them crossing over each other, as much as possible).
The hiss is there with or without any input cables. The hiss can easily be heard over a ceiling fan and a noisy desktop computer. I used to have a pair of Mackie HR824's, i never had any kind of hissing out of those.
Do you have the levels maxed out?
No. You can hear it with the levels at there lowest. These monitors have the loudest white noise of any monitors I've ever heard.
Have you tried the speakers at a different location with a different electrical supply?
Yeah, I tried three different Furman Power Conditioners at two different locations.
@David > What you are experiencing appears to be normal. The SDJs do emit some white noise.
They do have hiss. I own sdj08.
