I have been DJing for years using Serato and the Rane ttm57sl mixer.  

I am about to guest spot a club that has the Pioneer 900 nexus and an SL3.

Is there anything on my Mac Book Pro I need to do in advance?  firmware, etc?  

I need to be able to plug in and go....

@Mr Chris > You can assign the 900nexus as a MIDI controller to the software if you wish but, honestly, if its your first time using the two together I wouldn't, you're not used to that setup so why try to accustom yourself to it in a live audio environment? Setup the CDJs / turntables as normal with the SL3 and route the audio from the CDJs into the mixer as normal.
