Some tracks won’t load from my memory sticks to CDJ 900

Hi I am new to CDJs, I have only previously used turntables and traktor software/controller.

When I put my scan disk memory sticks into the cdj it shows all my mp3 tracks but many won’t load however some will. Can someone please advise me as to why this is??? All tracks will play through my laptop, iPhone, pc and traktor. 

Sorry if this is a silly or easy answered question, I am new to this set up and I’m lost as to why some won’t load. Thanks in advance

Just to cover the bases:

  • was the memory stick properly formatted prior to adding music to it? Also, can you provide the brand/model of your memory stick? The more information you can provide, the more myself and others can be of use to help work through this.
  • When you say some tracks won't load, can you explain exactly what happens? For example, is there an error message or error code?
  • Have you updated to the latest firmware for your CDJ-900?
