I have over 60,000 songs nested in folders on an external 4TB drive. The songs are only one or two folders deep and have under 1000 titles in each. But are categorized by type, like; 50's, 60's, Disco, Country, House, Electro, Trance, etc.

I am now going to try to go PC less and use a XDJ-RX2.

Is there a way to let Rekordbox analyze all the tracks in place on the drive so the RX2 can read them directly when plugged into the USB?

Unfortunately not, but you can simply "export" the entire collection and playlists back to that same drive - no export takes place, but an export database is created and then you can connect that drive to your players.
