The DDJ-SB2 is not recognized by Macbook Pro
Good day,
My DDJ-SB2 just arrived and I wanted to test it immediately.
I first downloaded the latest Serato DJ Intro. Connected the controller with the included usb cable to my Macbook Pro (2013)(Yosemite 10.10.5) and it seemed to work fine. So I connected the rca-cable to my amplifier and speakers, when I turned around Serato DJ Intro said that hardware is disconnected and I can't seem to get a connection anymore with my Macbook. I tried removing the midi and replugging but there's no sign that my macbook recognizes the controller. There is power because the lights go on, but no real connection.
Can somebody help me? Tank you.

Try opening the Audio MIDI Preferences, open the MIDI Studio window, find the SB2 on that page, then select and delete it. Click the Rescan MIDI Setup button and allow it to be re-detected. It should not appear greyed-out / ghosted. Open Serato DJ and see if it is now detected.
Thank you so much for your comment. I’ve tried that before. I got it working now. Turns out I received a faulty USB cable. It works fine with a new one...
