Hi Support/Forum,

Please help me in updating my rekordbox to rekordbox dj.

I have the activation key and also my laptop is connected to the internet but I am not able to activate it.

I am having the same problem and this is what i've found out so far:

-Removing and reinstalling does not help (with restarting mac after each step)

-If I use another account (temporary one) there is no problem at all, so it has got to do with the user.

I also noticed that even after removing all rekordbox files visible in the "Rekordbox" submap in programs, you are still logged in, and your library is untouched. Maybe if it's possible to remove everything (even if that removes the library) the issue can be resolved? Another workaround be better though.

*edit: I meant another account on the laptop by the way

Check: Control Panel -> Internet Settings - Connections - Network Configuration - Checkbox "Use proxy" must NOT set.

I am Windows user, but proxy setting for Mac i find here http://kb.k12usa.com/Knowledgebase/Proxy-Settings-on-a-Mac-OS-X or try to google.
