Different USB export speeds.
Another question,
I have 2 identical USBs (one of them is much newer than the other), same make/model with the same read/write speeds which I have checked.
However the newer USB takes nearly 4 times as long to export the library updates.
Does anyone has any idea why this might be?

There's a few potential factors:
- the memory management chipset in the USB drive is different from the older unit to the newer one
- the memory itself is different
- the file format of the drive may be different
- if you aren't exporting identical content to each drive, the write times will differ
- if one drive hasn't been exported in a long time there may be more files to export
- if you have them connected to different USB ports on your computer, one may be USB3 and one may be USB2
Ah good shout on the formatting, I will try and re-format the new one and see what happens.
Everything else is the same, so can't think of another issue.
it looks your usb internal issue...
but i'm glad to see your latest comment that you've solved your usb problem by formatting & re-formatting..
Keep safe you data in couple of other secure custom usb drives for further security of important data...
Cheers!

Who the F*** is this guy?
It's not sorted it, I've not tried yet. And nothing is wrong with the USB. It's new and the speed tests were identical.
@Samuel > Did you export the exact same content to the drives connected to the same USB port?
