Jet-like sound
I have a pair of KRK monitors for mixing.
I have bought a couple of stands so that I can move my desk backwards in order to be in the equilateral triangle.
I've noticed a big difference in the bass but I'm now also hearing what I can only describe as a jet or flanger sounds.
My speakers/tweeters are ear height and are pointing towards me.
They are only a few inches away from the wall but they are front ported so shouldn't make much difference.
Any suggestions please?

Thos is cause by reverb in the room. My room has this happen with my rockit5 on my rx2. Need. More aucoustic foam to absorb the sound.
A way you can test this is to use some cheap headphones or open backed headphones and stand between them outputting the same signal. It will phase
