Changing filename for the tracks

Hi,

I am thinking prefixing the notation key to the filename for all my files I have in my collection (I need it for ableton etc. so I can find my files better).

What will happen to the library? - is there any chance it will find the renamed files so I loose no cues etc.???

Or should I go straight with my script and change the filename in the exported rekordbox xml and then reimport the library from that xml?

Any experience?
