Audio dropout while analyzing on other deck
I had a song going on deck A & loaded a song on Deck B that I had not analyzed before. In the process of the song being analyzed, the song playing started lagging and did not stop until the analysis on Deck B was complete. I usually have my sets prepared but this was a last minute request. It also happens if the FX panel is open, even if the effects are not being used. I have a Macbook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel I5 Dual Core & 8GB Ram. I am using the DDJ-RZ. Also what is the ideal buffer setting for my specs?

Sound like a buffer setting issue. Make adjustments until you no longer get dropouts and/or "pop & clicks."
It's hard to say what the ideal setting is as it would vary by user. Make sure all background applications are closed and your wifi and bluetooth are turned off.
I had severe issues with dropouts until I bought an Allienware i7 6700ghz 2.5 to 3.2 ghz 16gb and 1 tera hdd ,And only this makes the rekodbox stable , rekodbox needs bulldozer to run :(
I appreciate the insight. I was doing a wedding last night & noticed that the CPU load was peaking just by scrolling thru the library. I did as suggested and kept adjusting the buffer setting but to no avail. I never had "pops or clicks", just the song would struggle thru & audio would dropout.
